Blazin'M Ranch Setup (Day Prior)

• General support and set-up responsibilities. Help set-up start/finish scaffold, stage traffic barriers, signs, garbage cans, mobile toilets. etc.

Course Marker (Day Prior)

• Several areas need marking, please list your personal preference and we will accommodate your decision as much as possible! 

  • Mark race course from Start/Finish to Flycatcher aid station through Tuzigoot National Monument.

  • Mark race course from corner of Sycamore Canyon Rd and Tuzigoot Rd, out Sycamore Canyon Rd through FS258 intersection and onto Rust Bucket Aid Station. A truck/ATV will be needed for this effort. Race organizers will provide the vehicle.

  •  Mark race course from top of Thumper to bottom of Lime Kiln, to Mesa tail through to Flycatcher connector.

Blazin M Parking Control

• Control/Monitor vehicular traffic as it enters and exits Blazin' M Ranch.

Blazin'M Ranch Support and Setup

• Sign in registrants, register late applicants, hand out race bibs, Packet Pickups any swag bags etc.

Course Marshal

• Coordinate race course support personnel during the event (course monitors, aid stations, EMT's) and communicate with race director and local police/fire if required.

Course Monitor

• Monitor race course at various intersections and/or black diamond areas to provide direction and cautionary guidance to race participants. Arrive at Blazin'M Ranch 15 minutes ahead of time to verify area of responsibility. You can hike or ride to location. In some cases you can drive part way.

Kids Course Marshal

• Coordinate race course support personnel during the event (course monitors, aid stations, EMT's) and communicate with race director and local police/fire if required.

Timing and Prize Support

• Assist Race Starter with timing, marking, prize handout.

Post-Race Course Sweep

• There are several areas which will need inspection post-race. Please list your preference and we will do our best to accommodate your decision!

• Sweep Thumper, Lime Kiln, Mesa trails to assure everyone is off the course. Retrieve signs.

•  Sweep Lower/upper Bones, Lower/upper Raptor to assure everyone is off the course.  Retrieve Signs and any trash left behind.

Blazin'M Tear Down and Cleanup

• Help tear down event-specific equipment, tents, etc., garbage removal.
